The Story Behind The Method

Healing from the Inside Out: Shaun Quigley’s Radical Model for Transforming Trauma:

Shauna Quigley speaks with the kind of presence that immediately settles the nervous system. Her words, though measured, carry a quiet intensity—one born of lived experience, deep study, and the profound desire to help others come home to themselves. At the heart of her work lies a question that is driving her PhD research and shaped her life's calling:

Shauna’ s model, emerging from her lived experiences of trauma and its transformation, invites us into what she calls an interoceptive phenomenological approach to primary pain—“primary” not in chronology, but in its primal, foundational nature. This is the pain that lives beneath the story. It is sensation, it is tension, it is the body’s whisper that it’s not safe—yet.

A Model Born from Lived Experience and Scholarly Rigor”

This is the guiding ethos behind her model—a framework that draws on neurobiology, phenomenology, somatic psychology, and deep inner listening. Rather than pathologizing trauma or bypassing it with spiritual platitudes, her work honors the felt sense of experienceAnd perhaps most strikingly—Shauna isn’t just building a model. She’s modeling a way of being: deeply attuned, fiercely tender, and grounded in the truth that healing is not about becoming someone new, but remembering who we are beneath the adaptations.

Its a game changer… it's the stuff we will be reading about in psychology books in years to come, about how to heal the human condition.
It should be taught in schools & universities.
